| Description: |
Sagebrush leaves were collected to analyze microbiome assemblages associated both within and on leaf tissue. Bacteria and fungi from leaves were both cultured and sequenced for taxon identification. Leaf chemical and stable isotope analyses were conducted for comparison to leaf microbiome data. Environmental/climate data will also be utilized from the Boise State University-Department of Geosciences Dry Creek Lower Weather station for comparison to leaf microbiome data.
